C-PET'S MISSION
The Center's primary focus is on the implications of the key emerging technologies of the 21st century. Early issues to be addressed include the implications of artificial intelligence (AI), radio-frequency identifiers (RFIDs), and applications of nanotechnology. C-PET is also developing a transatlantic dialogue on the societal dimensions of emerging technologies. C-PET's mission is to stimulate broad nonpartisan dialogue, and the development of policy proposals, on emerging technologies and their social, ethical, and legal implications.
