Charles T. Rubin
Charles T. Rubin is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Graduate Faculty at Duquesne University Graduate Center for Social and Public Policy. He is also a Fellow of the Institute on Biotechnology and the Human Future. Additionally, Rubin serves on the Board of Advisors of the Allegheny Institute for Public Policy Research, and is a contributing editor of The New Atlantis.
Author of The Green Crusade: Rethinking the Roots of Environmentalism, he is currently at work completing Why Be Human? Defending Progress Against Its Friends, a critical look at cutting-edge science and technologies that promise transcending the human condition.
Rubin earned a Ph.D. in political philosophy from Boston College and a bachelor's degree from Case-Western Reserve University.
