As the year draws to a conclusion, this seems a good time to thank the intern Research Assistants who have helped power C-PET through 2016.
We have been very pleased to have four of them on the team, including Adam Turosky who has served as Managing Research Assistant and is still hard at work! You can find their bios here.
We’ll be putting out a formal Call for Interns shortly, but if you or someone you know may be interested in joining our team during 2017 feel free contact us and open the conversation. These positions, as with many in Washington, are unremunerated. We do our best to make them interesting, and focused on efforts relevant to career and other plans. Since much of our work is online, you can be a C-PET intern from outside the Beltway – or, indeed, in the case of at least two who have done valuable work with us, outside the country. Some sign up since degrees or other qualifications require this kind of experience. For others it has been a matter of personal interest, always with an eye to networking and reference opportunities.
So, let me express our thanks to the class of 2016!
Best wishes for the new year,
